If you get a "permission denied" error when trying to execute the binary, this means that the file is not marked as being executable. To fix this: sudo chmod +x filename

I have ubuntu linux 10.10, I installed skype software in it, I can not able to run webcam ,help me

you can easily solbe this problem. I had the same
problem and solved.First of all close all aplication
in your ubuntu linux. Then after at the top of
the desktop you can see Application menu ,now
open the menu, then after open Accessories , and
after that open the Terminal . Now the terminal
window is open . Just copy and paste the code
and press Enter key . Skype window is open .
Now log in to skype and your problem is solved.
